Knitting 101: The Basics

Join our Knitting 101 class, designed specifically for beginners, where you'll learn the fundamental skills of knitting. Over three Saturdays (November 1, 15, and 29) from 10 am to 12 pm, you'll discover the basics of knitting and create a simple project to take home.

Note: Courses will follow a semester-style format, with a set start and end date, and regular class meetings. This format allows for in-depth exploration of the subject matter and provides students with a structured learning environment.

Course Overview

In this hands-on class, you'll learn:
- Casting On: Understand how to create a slipknot, measure yarn tail, and cast on stitches using the long-tail cast-on method.
- Knit Stitch: Master the basic knit stitch, including inserting the needle, wrapping yarn, and pulling it through.
